Ditto here. Heard a new radio commercial for him though and it’s just as irritating as the last one.

Simpson’s people were in my neighborhood last week and my sister’s neighborhood the week before. Everyone is walking, I’m sure - with the exception of Bankston. I don’t think he could walk a city block.

Listen to his latest radio commercial: Couple complaining about traffic, “current mayor wants a loop but that’ll take 15 years...I like Daniel’s plan, build the loop but, in the meantime, build an inner loop using Airline Hwy, it could be paid for with tolls like Shreveport”. This is not a precise quote, I’ve heard it while driving, but it sure leaves the impression (probably un-intended) that he wants to make Airline Hwy a toll road.

I have driven on Shreveport’s “inner” (Bert Kouns loop) and “outer” loops, and do not remember a toll. There is a part that goes north of the city into upper Bossier, and I have not been on that. I tried a web search, but could not find any mention of a Shreveport toll.

Now Dallas has a toll expressway, but unlike Airline, it has limited access. On Airline would Daniel have us pay by the block??

Is Airline even the issue? I-10 seems to be more important than a road to bombed-out North Baton Rouge.

Who’s doing his media? An earlier tv ad had him looking like Howdy Doody, and the Airline ad is a continuation of poor media. Needs to fire the firm or one of his other advisors needs to clue him in his ads suck.
