My 1991 Magnavox big screen finally kicked the bucket. WOOOO-HOOOOO!!!
It’s going to be a High-Def marathon weekend in the dirty household. 1080p is a wonderful thing.

Consumer Reports this month has an excellent series of articles comparing the three main technologies and their charecteristics. I’d go somplace like Best Buy and look at the different ones. If you want big size at low price, rear projections, like dlp, is your best bet.. Around 50”, I’d give an LCD first crack.
Just kidding. I have all the TV’s I can possibly watch, in color, but no terribly wide screen or plasma- yet. I wish D. Dan the best of deals. I hope he gets it in time to see LA Tech beat LSU tonight. For real!

Oh yeah. You can. BTW, I was disappointed in the outcome of the game. Tech HAS defeated LSU in football. I believe it was in 1904, the last time. And....it wasn’t very many years ago that Tech won big against them in basketball. I just had to speak up about that. I get tired of all the LSU hype. People refer to them as “we” when they never came close to being students at the university.

Well, LSU IS the state university. Between our being in the Top 5 and having Jindal elected governor, isnt it time our state got some good publicity ?
