Anyone out there know the solution to this problem.. I’m trying to install a third drive (SATA) to a duo core machine running VISTA that already has 2 RAID drives.  After hookup and setup, device manager recognizes the drive, but VISTA operating system doesn’t. Anyone know how to fix this?? Already tried reformating drive, and activating slave sata ports.

What’s the drive manufacturer?

If it’s seagate you may need to go to their website.
