May we NEVER be so unfortunate to allow this to get back at the helm of government? What a demonstration of poor judgement! The daughter of an exPresident who was about 3 to 5 years old when her father “served”. What has she EVER done to make anyone think she should be telling us what would be good and what would be bad? She has no idea as far as I know.

LOL  I’m sure it is hard to see ideas without effort through the thick piney woods of CenLa.

Huh?  B.A. from Radcliffe College/Harvard University, J.D. from Columbia Law School, mother of two, attorney, editor, and writer.  Two books on law with Ellen Alderman and edited four other best sellers.  If she were your daughter, you’d be going ‘round telling all the neighbors how great she is!!

Nope.  Don’t even think it.  Not the governor.  He has a job to do (God bless him and help keep him focused on governing and not on imposing his personal religious interpretations on the rest of us) while I’m just a moderate gadfly ... which in Louisiana they call “liberal.” --Faux Bobby Jindal

Yep, it sure is, but I know a nothing when I see it. Not much effort needed. This lady is a Kennedy. If she weren’t we would never have heard of her. Right? Right? Be truthful.

See reply to Leon’s post. We would never have heard of her. Agree?

And please note. I do not hate the Kennedys. I’ve always enjoyed reading about them. They have been entertaining, exciting and sad all through the years.

Well I guess, and if W weren’t the son of Geo. HW Bush we’d never have heard of him.  But there they are, children to be proud of.

Caroline and I are the same age. I have always thought she was a pretty good looker. Rich liberal--but not a bad looker.

That could well be true and I have wished in the not too distant past that we had never heard of him. Not so of his father, who I believe was a good leader compared to the son. No, having relatives in high places does not qualify anyone for anything.

As a child she was cute. Not so much as an adult. She got the worst features of her paternal aunts and maternal grandmother, in my opinion. She’s not awful looking but not nearly so good-looking as her brother and mother.

I for one hadn’t thought about that much.  Let me compare....

a) Carolyn:

b) Twitt:

Hmmm.  I’m thinking Twitt’s the winner here!!

Who’s the blonde in the lower picture? Veronica Lake? I think there’s no relation there to any of the Kennedys.

Oh, I forgot to save the flyer after I scanned it.  I pulled it off the window at the Super-Valu on Oak.  It’s Twitt starring in one of those Tennessee Williams plays at the Jena Little Theater.

Ha ha! Even I am not as old as Veronica Lake but I know movie stars. In Jena it would have been showing at The Strand. Super-Value was on Oak (Hwy. 84) but was run out by the new Super Walmart. I can tell you know a little about Jena. Just little enough to be dangerous.
