Police report
NOVEMBER 16, 2008
Baton Rouge Police reported that an individual attempted to “egg” Coach Les Miles home last night.
The report stated:
“An empty egg carton was recovered at the scene. Two eggs hit Coach Miles house, 3 eggs went over his house and hit his neighbor’s back door, 2 eggs hit the houses of each of his next door neighbors, and the remaining 3 eggs were found broken on the ground near the carton from where the individual threw them. Looking at what was hit, police officials say they are considering LSU quarterback Jarrett Lee as the primary suspect.”
This should be on the Louisiana Politics thread, or some other thread. This has nothing to do with National Politics
You’re right, football has nothing to do with politics, and
L.S.U. never plays a football game against
a school outside of the state of Louisiana,
nor against an opponent from another state. Justice
Byron W. White’s appointment and confirmation
had nothing to do with football, nor did Chris Dodd’s
election to the U.S. Senate; nor has any college and/or
professional basketball player was ever been
elected to the U.S. Senate. And the late Pat Screen’s
election as Mayor of Baton Rouge had nothing to
do with the fact that he was once the head quarterback
of the L.S.U. Tigers. And who was that guy who
was once President of the United States that was
a football hero? President Gerald Ford, I think I
recall correctly. Oh, well! Tell me
something new!
