Why are people quoting every post?

Guys, why are so many of you quoting everything in the thread when you make a post?  Not necessary, and it makes the thread more difficult to read.

If there is something specific that you want to respond to, then why not just quote that one sentence?

Just my $0.02.

I guess the post reply button is too far away.  Swap “quote” with “post reply”.

The reason is because without quotes, it becomes confusing to who is responding to who and what.
