jst saw where Hunter “feed my family” Greene’s wife in today’s paper has over a $100,000 in contracts to public/state schools…

I guess all that and the payraise and his law practice....I can see where he did “not see the payraise as over the top...”

Poor guy , he is REALLY struggling to feed his family...laughable, if he wasn’t so greedy and totally ignored the people who put him in office.....

Is you GDS acting up again?

Coach..you ‘re not even funny...you try and compare 6-7 posts and 1-2 threads as being GHS....not’s not OCD,idiot

YOU AND FEW OTHER S HAVE STARTED 100’s OF ANTI -JINDAL THREADS AND THOUSANDS OF ANTI-JINDAL POSTS..

YOU’RE COMPARING APPLES AND.......

I simply pointed out what was in paper today about Hunter’s wife....

I am curious---is a post of a fact that reveals Jindal to be the fiscally liberal politician that he is an anti-Jindal post???

Well at least you have learned something in reading my post. I notice you have never, ever pointed our a factual error that I did not acknowledge.

Those capable are certainly welcome to challenge my version (how can there be different versions of the truth) of the truth. Are you capable?

I know this is hard for pol. Fundamentalists to understand...very much like rel. Fundamentalists....

but there are different versions and perceptions of the “truth”...sit in a court of law sometimes

Fundy’s know 1 version--their “truth” and there is no reason to discuss--they’re right and unless you tow their line--you are wrong.

that’s why I’ve chosen not to argue with you much,I.B. It does no good to argue with rel. or pol. fundamentalists...THEY HAVE THE CORNER ON TRUTH.

(especially ones who show behavior of an OCD individual)

What are you talking about?? Your little sophomoric insults? I could make a more intelligent argument in support of Jindal than any you have posted and you are the king of Jindalicans. You can’t carry my jock strap.

Religious and Pol. fundamentalists lash out when challenged....I understand..calm down.

BTW--I’m not Jindal’s biggest defender..he’s a big boy.

So where do we sign the Foil recall petition or who do we contact about it?

Rep. Foil is honest, sincere, family oriented, and one of the best legislators in the state.  He is a potential future governor.

This recall effort is a classic example of not being able to see the forest because you’re looking at one leaf.

So how many signatures do you have so far?  Still need more than 10,000 signatures?  Gee, what a surprise.  LOL

I’m really interested to know how many signatures all of these recalls have gotten....is there anywhere to look at that information?

franklin foil is a nice person and has a lovely family but how can you possibly judge his abilities as a legislator or a potential future candidate for gov? that is ridiculous.  he is in the begining of his first year.

Nice guy, but the pay raise issue is not forgivable. Recall his ###.

Out of all of the votes the Legislature has taken, what makes this pay raise bill so much worse than any of the others?

There have been abortion bills, creationism bills, gambling bills, budget cap busting bills, bills dealing with all sorts of major policy issues ....... yet this one bill makes people want to recall them?

While I wouldn’t have voted for it (any raise should go into effect after the next election), I do believe there is a lack of perspective going on.  Perhaps it is simply that this bill is one that the average citizen can understand, and they quite naturally don’t like it.

In any event, none of the recalls will come close to actually removing anyone from office.

I think what got many was the arrogance. Since Katrina/Rita most are ready for some real change in Gov’t and many are very impatient (See IB Freeman, etal). I’ve been trying to give some of legislators and the Governor the benefit of the doubt but have been somewhat disappointed. When you have people like Reed from Da Parish basically poking the public in the eye it stirs anger.

Many of the reforms voted on have not yet born any fruit so at this point I’m unsure of the good or bad of them. My Rep is Rogers Pope, who I know to be a good and serious man and a fiscal conservative. He didn’t vote for pay raises. My Senator is Dale Erdey who voted for the raise. I know him through acquaintances and now I’m not really sure how conservative or serious he is.
