It supports the contention that the level of activity on the Sun will significantly diminish sometime in the next decade and remain low for about 20 - 30 years. On each occasion that the Sun has done this in the past the World’s mean temperature has dropped by ~ 1 - 2 C.

Holy krap… We’re all gonna freeze to death!

I remember back in the late 60’s that the earth was cooling and the reason cited was that the sun was slowly going out (in terms of it’s lifespan )

I don’t know which one I want. global cooling or warming.

Global warming will do wonders for my crops and Cooling will have me on the beach sippin’ on a beer.
