It is not news that McCain is more centrist than on the right wing of the Republican party. Imagine that, he will govern from the middle. Yes, that will get him some Democratic votes.
DM1, do you actually think Obama will win? Are you a betting man?
What would that prove ? Do you really think the election will be decided on how much money I would bet. Then add the fact who would I trust to hold
the money, when I do not trust any one here. I know with all the love people have shown me, you would think I would just want to run and be part of the group,
but I just do not care enough to meet anyone from here.
Now If we are talking real betting I think we can look to see where the professionals place their money and see who the odds really favor.

It is obvious McCain is a maverick who can work both sides as long as he sees legislation that he can support. Is this a bad thing? does the fact that America may elect a president and vice president who works against gridlock as has been seen in the last 30 plus years, and work for a system that may represent the people as one nation upset us? Is it possible we may have a candidate poised to take on the so called political establishment much as did Teddy Roosevelt seem to tear at the fiber of the political spectrum that has poisoned our great nation?
Call me crazy but I support maverick politics and support a united people who want America to be for everyone, and is strong in the aspect of military defence. I am tired of a nation as great as ours being afraid of the muslim jihad against our ideology of God and Country.
Show me on this board where we believe that McCain is a conservative. You’d be hard-pressed to find it. We’re not in “denial,” we’re amazingly disappointed that our party couldn’t get behind a decent conservative in the race (Hunter or Tancredo).
Yeah...Romney sure is one to talk about whether or not someone is a true conservative. He somehow became pro-life, against McCain-Kennedy Immigration reform, and kissing up to the NRA when he realized he wanted to be President.
Of all the Republican primary candidates at the start, he was the one I trusted the least.
McCain/ Palin is a breath of fresh air that our nation needs. Both parties can not find anyone more suited for the office than the Republican ticket, this being spoken by a Democrat.
