Sarah Palin, while a very intellegent and energetic conservative, is not qualified at this time to serve as Commander-in-Chief.  That is why we are electing John McCain for that role, someone, who unlike our current President, has actually been to battle and knows what he’s asking of our troops should he send them into battle.

It’s good to see that both McCain and Palin have children serving/about to serve in Iraq, as well and Obama’s VP pick, Joe Biden.

So who is qualified to be President?

Obama ?  with only 144 days in the U.S. Senate.

I believe I said John McCain is qualified to be Commander-in-Chief.

The new messiah, aka Barack Obama, is not.  Palin, after 4-8 years serving as McCain’s VP, maybe very well be qualified in the future, but she is not right now.  Not with the current climate of the War on Terror.

John McCain is the more qualified for the office but there is little doubt that Palin can take on the role if anything bad should happen to McCain, and I do believe in 4 years we will see Palin as a strong candidate for the nations highest office. the problem is her own party will never support her, just as they do not want to support a proven patriot such as John McCain.
If the Republicans do denounce Palin we may well see a third party rise to her support. this may well be one of the most glorious things to happen and I certainly would want to be one to support Palin in any presidential ambitions she may have. the McCain /Palin ticket is the most revolutionary tickets for leadership since Teddy Roosevelt and it is no doubt time for them to take their place in our society.

A third party will never gain traction in this country.

A third party will never elect a person to this nation’s highest office. Never has, never will.
Only kooks and quacks, and malcontents, are in a third party.

"Only kooks and quacks, and malcontents, are in a third party.”

And...it’s thinking like that which aid the corruption of our main two parties.

I see a sence of discontent that a third party may rise from the ashes of the burned out political machinery that has oppressed the people of the United States for years. Name calling simply stirs the embers that burns at the base of the two main parties and once they are engulfed in the flames of discontent then the true party of the people will rise. Those that are unable to see this or bound to be scorched by the fire.
travel the nation and ask the common person if he/she votes Democrat or Republican and you will hear them say they vote for the individual and not the party. This is the same people that will elect McCain/Palin, and not the so called core values of the two political parties. There is most definately a wind of change that circulates across the nation from the storm of the present two party system. Rest assured there will be a third party unless the two main parties get back to the basics which at present they are not capable of.
