Poor ole liberal lemmings can’t figure out Obama is a liar, intentionally injecting race into the campaign and lying at every turn. Oh, wait, maybe that should be poor ole liberal lemmings don’t care that Obama is a liar. Oh well…
Much of the media that is uninterested in Mr. Obama’s connections to unrepentant 1970s Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah Wright have so far gone along with the attempt to tie me to Mr. McCain. But Mr. McCain and I have not agreed on how to address illegal immigration. While I am heartened by his willingness to start by securing the borders, it is no secret that we have fundamental differences on illegal immigration.
And more to the point, these sound bites are a deception, and Mr. Obama knows it. The first sound bite was extracted from a 1993 humorous monologue poking fun at the arguments against the North American Free Trade Agreement. Here’s the context:
“If you are unskilled and uneducated, your job is going south. Skilled workers, educated people are going to do fine ‘cause those are the kinds of jobs Nafta is going to create. If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people, I’m serious, let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do—let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work.”
My point, which is obvious, was that the people who were criticizing Nafta were demeaning workers, particularly low-skilled workers. I was criticizing the mind-set of the protectionists who opposed the treaty. There was no racial connotation to it and no one thought there was at the time. I was demeaning the arguments of the opponents.

Only in the fringes of some rightwingers’ world would a rightwing bigot have legitimacy in crying that someone else is “stoking racial antagonism.”
If you want to make a compelling case that Obama is a liar or that some issue should be discussed in the mainstream, Rush Limbaugh isn’t a wise source to achieve these ends, especially now that Rush has an axe to grind over being called out for the bigot that he is with his own words. Pretty brazen of him, though, that he would try to supply a “context” that doesn’t exist.
As a side note, without Rupert Murdoch owning the WSJ, a blowhard like Rush would have never been allowed anywhere near their editorial page, much less given the space to run an explanation for his bigoted bile.

Funny it is only the republicans here that I see crying racism.
That’s because you don’t cry racism, when you’re using it as a weapon you dullard.
Then why do you keep crying racism, because you are the one is trying to use it as a weapon. If you do not want to vote for Obama that is fine and I have
not seen the first person say Fred is a racist because Fred will not vote for Obama.
Except that Rush isn’t a right wing bigot and nothing in the story you posted proves it.
I could also try to convince you that the Moon is mostly made of cheese despite the evidence that is out there that yields a different fact, but that would be just stupid. We all admire your loyalty, but at what cost does that loyalty come, roux?

Let’s do some Democrat editing of your words......

“the Moon is mostly made of cheese” - Trots
We could do better and use this as an opportunity to learn some of you about context.
“If you are unskilled and uneducated, your job is going south. Skilled workers, educated people are going to do fine ‘cause those are the kinds of jobs Nafta is going to create. If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people, I’m serious, let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do—let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work.” Rush Limbaugh on the effects of NAFTA
“I could also try to convince you that the Moon is mostly made of cheese despite the evidence that is out there that yields a different fact, but that would be just stupid.” Leon Trotsky on roux’s verbal wagon circling around the above statement by Rush Limbaugh
I’m not going to try to keep you from continuing your present tack, though…

Here, maybe, but not in the Presidential campaign. Barak Obama is accusing everyone of racism.
race has been an issue since the 60s and will continue to be an issue through my lifetime unfortunately. the young generation now seems to be truly moving into a post racial era, but there are still plenty of us who grew up in the 60s and 70s who just flat out refuse to give obama a chance because he is black. to deny this is to deny reality. that said, i havent heard obama accuse anyone of being a racist in this campaign. i think it was great that he had the courage to roll the dice and address the racism that we know is among us earlier this year like he did. obama did make those comments about how some republicans are going to use subtle racism in this election, which everybody here knows is true. heck at my little golf club just this weekend a few guys and i were having a beer after our round and a thrilling discussion occured where the difference between bobby jindal and other dark skinned peopole were talked about at length. the conclusion was that indians worked and were mostly educated which kept them from lumping jindal in the same category as other minorities. one of them even concluded that, and i paraphrase here, heck jindal was more educated than the last three generations of his family combined. when i told him that obama was even more educated than jindal by virtue of his having a terminal degree in a field, they just kept saying that they just couldnt vote for a black guy. period. i have lots of friends like that that it is in their economic best interest to not vote republican this year and they would have voted clinton had she gotten the nominaiton, but they will vote mcain anyway. these arent bad people at all, just products of their environments the past 50 and 60 years of their lives. the fact of the matter is that the republican domination in the south owes a lot to racism than any other factor, lbj and nixon both foresaw it thirty years ago.

TO whom does your reference “rightwing bigot” refer?
If you want to make a compelling case that Obama is a liar
one simply provides the evidence proving the case, which Limbaugh does...Heh
