You’ll note that both candidates have contributions from the investment sector, but McCain much more overwhelmingly so.  And compared to $2 million of corporate money to Rick Davis just for his influence on McCain, the employee contributions are more likely some bet-hedging.

Nope.  Don’t even think it.  Not the governor.  He has a job to do (God bless him and help keep him focused on governing and not on imposing his personal religious interpretations on the rest of us) while I’m just a moderate gadfly ... which in Louisiana they call “liberal.” --Faux Bobby Jindal

Obama was the number 2 recipient behind John Kerry… Don’t get much more overwhelming than that booby.

You said that.  Of course, O is the one running for President. ("Duh" comes to mind.) But as I said, not a penny of that was from the corporations, unlike the $2 million to McCain’s campaign manager.

Bull.  When led to the trough of knowledge, booby looks the other way, unwilling or afraid to look.

Freddie and Fannie used huge lobbying budgets and political contributions to keep regulators off their backs.

A group called the Center for Responsive Politics keeps track of which politicians get Fannie and Freddie political contributions. The top three U.S. senators getting big Fannie and Freddie political bucks were Democrats and No. 2 is Sen. Barack Obama.

Now remember, he’s only been in the Senate four years, but he still managed to grab the No. 2 spot ahead of John Kerry — decades in the Senate — and Chris Dodd, who is chairman of the Senate Banking Committee.

When in doubt, repeat?  I took you by the hand to the Center for Responsive Politics, and showed you that the donations aren’t from the corporations.  Would you like candy or flowers?
