The arrogance of obama and the Democrats continues. In anticipation of what they are sure will be his coronation on November 4, a commemorative coin bearing the likeness of “The One” is being prepared by a jewelry maker in Birmingham, England. Somehow, this ought to find it’s way into a McCain Ad:

http://blogsforjohnmccain.com/commemorative-coin-bearing-likeness-president-obama-already-ordered-democrats-photo

And today obama meets Bush and McCain at the white house to discuss the financial crisis.  obama will be carrying a tape measure, to get measurements for his new desk!!!  hahahaha

And before any of you clueless obama supporters exclaim, “but it wasn’t obama who minted the coins”, just remember: they had to have obama’s permission first to put his likeness on a coin.

You’re just looking for flotsam and jetsam to get outraged about.  It’s an addiction.

The campaigns cannot stop people from making about anything they want out of the candidates’ images.  They wouldn’t be able to keep track of it all.

Alternative post:  McCain thinks He’s God!  The outrage!!!

Nope.  Don’t even think it.  Not the governor.  He has a job to do (God bless him and help keep him focused on governing and not on imposing his personal religious interpretations on the rest of us) while I’m just a moderate gadfly ... which in Louisiana they call “liberal.” --Faux Bobby Jindal

What a bunch of arrogant idiots!

The website for the so-called jeweler sells all their stuff through Paypal only.  Their email is a gmail account.  The site at no point says the coin is authorized by Obama or anyone else. It says “This coin has been made as showing Barack Obama as a great Statesman and future president of the USA” Also “Every three Months, we are going to add certain specific football legends and past and present presidents and prime ministers of the world.”

On the surface, it’s some web capitalist trying to make money off a campaign.  FIRE UP THE OUTRAGE!!

The site has an Alexa web rank of ..... none!!

http://www.alexa.com/search?q=http://www.wewlondon.com/

An ebay ad for the so-called company says “Presidential candidate Mr Obama is an icon of change, hard work and success; and we feel his achievements have earned the right and respect to have a coin minted in honour of his name and his campaign for change.”

Authorized??  Nowhere.

For a company supposedly in business since the French Revolution, it is strange that the only links to its website are a few about the supposed Obama coin.

The domain for this centuries old company was registered this year, with a private no-address registration through Network Solutions.  Fly by night outfit tries to make money off of candidate.

BUT FIRE UP THE PHONY OUTRAGE ANYWAY!!  IT’S BETTER THAN HAVING TO DEFEND MCCAIN OR PALIN ON ANYTHING!!

Oh wait, that campaign is suspended?  Shouldn’t you be obeying the GOP commissars and going with the “unity” talking points?

How does it not put the nation first to give the US a chance to see the two candidates together 40 days before the election?  The GOP is using this as an obvious ploy to try to preempt the VP debate for the “first” Prez debate, so that nobody has to sit through the pain of watching Ms. Palin answer questions.

McCain thinks if the voters believed the bad economy was all in their imagination, they will believe anything.

No, by going public with his ‘suspension’ announcement as a breaking news statement McCain tried to make any agreement between the candidates impossible. Contrast that with Obama’s campaign, which worked to get both campaigns to agree on a common set of principles privately before going public. There’s no logical reason there can’t be a presidential debate while a bailout plan is being negotiated.

Nobody thinks that McCain would have come up with this gambit if his polls were where they were two weeks ago instead of where they are today. This isn’t a reaction to the national financial crisis but to the McCain polling crisis.

The Freds who are cheering this aren’t doing so because they think it’s the right thing to, do but because they hope it’s ingenious politics

Yesterday’s sunset was red, and had one tiny cloud beneath all the others with a little halo over it.  It was God protecting Ms. Palin from witchcraft, I think.
