Is the government as we know it proving by the failing economy that the system no longers works? Has partisanship replaced common sense? It is sickening to see those we elect, fail the people as they do yet we do not hold them responsible for their actions. The time is soon coming when the bashing of skulls and the hardened steel of the people will take its toll on the two party system now in place. When people who have worked all their lives lose all their savings, when the babys of parents cry from hunger, when we shiver in the cold it will be too late. We as a people must learn soon that all incumbants are our enemies and must be removed and replaced with new blood and new ideas.

Across the board term limits is the answser.

Your pelosi’s, kenneddy’s, reids get in office and stay forever.. They begin to beleive it’s their right to be there, their intitlement.  At that point, saving their position of power becomes more important to them than the country they are supposed to serve.

I agree because the people are blinded by dynasties of politics.

You should be proud of yourself for making this argument against McCain and in favor of Obama.  Congratulations.

Nope.  Don’t even think it.  Not the governor.  He has a job to do (God bless him and help keep him focused on governing and not on imposing his personal religious interpretations on the rest of us) while I’m just a moderate gadfly ... which in Louisiana they call “liberal.” --Faux Bobby Jindal

It was a serious question.. And you do nothing but politicize it.. It’s because of people with your attitude, especially in Washington, that this country is in trouble.  You remind me of Harry Reid on the radio just now, saying the buyout deal failure was “John McCains fault"…

The dims lied on this, they had no deal, even though they announced they had.

I beleive what has happened is that you have a group in Washington, and their candidate, who put party politics above the country.

This group (the house) should feel the wrath of the people in such form as that future officials will take note of past ignorance. It is sad that a civilized people can’t see that there has to be give and take on both sides. This is why we see the outcome of elections are now decided by independent votes. George Bush was not elected by the people he was elected because Ralph Nader pulled enough votes from Gore, hense ... he is the best President that money can buy. The present system is a failure because the middle class have no trust in government, however if the middle class does not regain control they will find themselves go the way of the dinosaur.
