McCain on radio now.. He is working to put together a more fair rescue plan, one that doesn’t leave the taxpayers on the hook on main street, or pass out the golden parachutes on wall street. This plan includes more protection for taxpayers, loans, and insurance policies.

The greedy and the selfish can’t be allowed to benefit and prosper from this economic nightmare.

The United States business environment is still the best place in the world to invest your money.

Doesn’t he have to suspend his campaign to do some planning (which he didn’t do for 10 days)??  Oh wait, at least suspend the Palin debate?

Nope.  Don’t even think it.  Not the governor.  He has a job to do (God bless him and help keep him focused on governing and not on imposing his personal religious interpretations on the rest of us) while I’m just a moderate gadfly ... which in Louisiana they call “liberal.” --Faux Bobby Jindal

What will Obama suspend?  John McCain will do the right thing, but his party will not go along with him. he has to be President to force their hand. I can’t believe the stock market is failing because of a speech by the Speaker of the House. Some little boy Republicans got their feelings hurt and the American people will suffer.

Both sides are going to have to work together.  At least the provision of the bailout giving money to ACORN was removed due to republican objections..  I think we’ll come out of this ok.

No one has ever shown the provision itself in the original proposal.  I think it’s an urban legend.
