This morning on St. Charles Avenue, on the neutral ground, there were a number of Bill Jefferson signs that obviously had been defaced then replanted by the “artist.” What they did was to cover up the words “Re-Elect” at the top of the sign with “Convict.” The same colors and fonts were used so it looks real. Examples can be found at the intersections with Jefferson, Nashville and State. Very amusing.
