Anybody who ever doubts the incredible difference between turnout for presidential elections and a governor’s race need only look at the numbers from yesterday and a year ago. In Orleans Parish alone the increase in the total votes was 93%. In EBR Parish the increase was 54%.  Jindal won EBR overwhelmingly last year with 67K votes. Well yesterday Obama got 99K votes out of EBR.
