Tell me, if you genuinely know if this is true or not? If there is a possibility of this happening, especially with the Prez elect OB, this would scare the *&^% out of me.

MINDFULLY, 2004 - There over 800 prison camps in the United States, all fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards, but they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA should martial law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general’s signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. . .

Who emailed that to you?  Hardy?

Let me ask you this, Michelle: if there are 800 ready made prision camps, complete with full staff, ready to go:

a) wouldn’t that mean it is nearly certain that they were built in the last 8 years, 6 of which were under complete Republican control of government?
b) would you still be scared if we would have elected a Republican POTUS?
c) do you really think there are 800 seceret prisions in this country, fully staffed?  Seriously?
d) the math on that figures 16 camps per state; do you think that it is even possible in the internet age, with camera phones, facebook/myspace, 24 hour news cycles, that something of this magnitude involving so many contractors, subcontractors, laborers, guards, cooks, real estate sales/leases/expropriations could happen in seceret?  Seriously?

===========================================================================

I suppose these could just be the Obama reeducation camps that Avmeeen fears.

Yes, we have to be ready for any kind of disaster, so this would make sense since our jails are so over crowded.

We continue to allow the secular moralists and the faith based interest groups dictate the suppression of the Death Penalty, while they want EVERYONE to pay for the care of these menaces of society via the taxes of the majority.

At the same time, billions of dollars are wasted through exemption of property, sales taxes and more by the religious community because of the “use it when it benefits me” so called separation of church and state.  Yes there are non-Christians that are against the death penalty too, but the numbers are small comparatively.  It is a shame that these criminals live better and have more rights than some law abiding citizens.

I heard about this just before OB got elected by a guy I took as full of crap.  Then I was talking about it to another guy who just came back from Iraq, laughing because I thought it was a joke, until he told me there were camps like this. Today I got this email from my cousin in California because where she worked, she had came across this website. We, my cousin and I, hadn’t even discussed this subject until today.  Let me see if I can answer your questions.

a) wouldn’t that mean it is nearly certain that they were built in the last 8 years, 6 of which were under complete Republican control of government? Yes, I believe so.
b) would you still be scared if we would have elected a Republican POTUS? It wouldn’t scare me so much if OB didn’t have so many questions unanswered, and his statements proven, and WAY more experienced. I’m not sure he’s not an upstanding man.
c) do you really think there are 800 seceret prisions in this country, fully staffed?  Seriously? Isn’t that what Hitler did?
d) the math on that figures 16 camps per state; do you think that it is even possible in the internet age, with camera phones, facebook/myspace, 24 hour news cycles, that something of this magnitude involving so many contractors, subcontractors, laborers, guards, cooks, real estate sales/leases/expropriations could happen in seceret? Yes, I think it’s possible. I don’t know about 16 per state but there’s alot of government land out there.

It’s hard not to laugh at this, Michelle.  No offense though.

Perhaps you could get a lively discussion going on this topic with Hardy or Tony G, or maybe you could bounce these ideas around at Joe the Plumber’s new website, complete with a forum like this one that he blogs on.  Check it out:  http://www.secureourdream.com/index.html

The downside is that you have to buy a “freedom subscription” for $14.99 to get that kind of access to Snakin’ Sammy Werzulbacher, but something just tells me that there will be plenty of Hardys and Tony G’s there, so it will probably be a worthwhile experience for you.

Good luck.

No thanks. Hardy was the reason I got tired of this forum during the local elections.
And I’ll pass on the website. I do hope it does well for him though. I thought he was a decent guy, dispite the smear campaign against him. Not everyone’s perfect, but at least he fessed up to it.

You’ll have to find that 1 on your own. There were 3 different private investigating agencies looking into Joes background and came up with all kinds of things that ANY one of us could go thru/experience and turned his reputation into crap. I listened to what he had to say, several times, and he really could be just anyone and didn’t deserve what he got. He just made OB look like a fool and OB didn’t like it. OB answered the question. Joe just asked it.

She is talking about the way Hardy is treated by the members of this forum...even I know that and I haven’t been here 6 months.

LOL I was actually talking about Joe the Plumbers smear campaign. Sorry I didn’t make myself clear. My mistake. But yeah, Hardy had something of the same going on. Geeze, I hope it doesn’t start again now that we mentioned it.

Okay, what I said is true anyway, it does not matter, it is a fact of life here in the Forum of the Louisiana in the deep South.

Michelle,

I doubt the numbers that you speak of but I do not doubt that there are such places that are well hidden from the media and the public.  How many Americans knew that the Stealth Fighter program started in the 70s at the time.  Not many and it was a big surprise when it actually came out.  If as big of a project as big as that could be suppressed for so long, what makes anyone think that something as simple as Federal prisons could not be kept secret.
