I wouldn’t worry about his “team of rivals” too much if I were you. As much information as he’s asking for from his administration, he’s going to be in a perfect position to force anybody to do what he wants even if they aren’t working for him. Anybody stupid enough to volunteer that much information, far more than he was willing to give up during his campaign, deserves what they get.

By the way, I hope you applied for a job with his administration.
