[QUOTE=Unregistered]My response is in another thread, but I will repeat. Al-qaida and their like are criminals trying to extort money and power. Mafia and their like are criminals of Italian heritage trying to extort money and power. Nazis were Germans killing for world domination. KKK were racist white people killing for domination. That does not mean that all Arabs or Muslims, or all Italalians, or all Germans, or all white people, can be painted with the same brush. When you do that, YOU ARE GIVING THE EXTORTIONISTS JUST WHAT THEY WANT....YOUR HATRED BREEDS MORE HATRED IN BOTH SIDES. The extortionists win ... more recruits on their side, less freedom on our side. By foaming at the mouth with mindless hate for all Muslims, YOU’RE DOING AL-QAIDA’S WILL AS IF YOU WERE ON THEIR PAYROLL.
You weaken our free society. You dishonor America.
Oh, I know, you think you have just the answer. You cannot lump all people in a wad and label them. I know that. I am in my 60’s and I didn’t fall off the turnip truck this morning early. BUT, these circumstances involving the Arabs are most unusual. You will agree there are some who have entered this country, gone to school, probably dated Americans, worked for American people, ate in American restaurants and then flew planes into American buildings. I personally an unwilling to stand by while we try to decipher which ones are up to no good. Look, I live in a neighborhood with Arab people. I have had business dealings with Arabs. I don’t hate Arabs, or Jews, Germans, or Japanese people. But I don’t know which ones are good and which ones aren’t and you don’t either. In times like these, we’d better be checking on all of them. A lot of people would be alive today that died a horrible death if we had been more careful from the get-go. The luxury of being wonderfully unbiased and trusting everyone is gone, I’m afraid. And whose fault is it? It’s their Arab brothers’.
