[QUOTE=Unregistered]It is obvious the Bobby’s boys are trying to use the legislative wrap up mailout as some kind of mystery. Let me inform you of the truth:
Response to quote: Your version of the truth, not the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
1. It cleary states the cost and where the money came from on the bottom of the center page. It was tax payer dollars, not campaign.(try reading it!)
1A. Yes it does. It was taxpayer dollars, not campaign. Your intial supporter response on this forum adamantly denied it. He/She was certain it WAS NOT taxpayer dollars, claiming William Daniel never before used taxpayer dollars for this purpose.
So the original question was why did Mr. Daniel change that pattern in the midst of an election? Frankly, the question is still unanswered (though not really because we all know why don’t we?)
2. It ONLY contains information regarding this past legislative session. The bills that were considered, etc.
2A. The mailout is a tri-fold, with three photos of Mr. Daniel.
3. There are 65 other legislators that sent out similar mailouts to the constituents. (Many of the legislators are Republicans like Gary Beard)
3A. Did your homework in the midst of questioning did you? How many of those 65 are running for Mayor and for the first time ever used this “franking” to provide a wrap up? Only one I would venture.
4. It was sent to 12,000 people---only in his district.
4A. At half the price it would cost any candidate running for office to do the same.
This hardly seems like a mystery.
5A. The mystery could be why you chose taxpayer dollars to send the mailer out this year, but you are correct “this hardly seems like a mystery.” I think we all know why.
Unfortunatly, William Daniel is practicly a choir boy and I guess they can’t find any dirt, therefore, they must invent it.
6A. Oh yes quite the little choir boy.
I hope all the intellegent readers out there disregard the Bobby Boys obviously tainted enteries.
Quote response: The intelligent readers out there know precisely what happened here. Legal? Yes. Smells funny? Sure it does.
